Where to Post Your Listing
Close to 90% of all potential home buyers look to the internet for their next home and that has made the web an excellent opportunity to either help your agent sell your property or to sell it yourself with diligence paid to marketing it in all the right places. Just where to spend your time and perhaps a little money in promotion can be tricky but I have listed a few of the many successful sites in which to spend it.
Although I have not used many of the websites listed below, they are suggestions for you to explore that may work to your advantage so you can maximize your online exposure. Remember that we live in a global village and not to restrict your marketing to local venues; you never know who is looking to relocate from outside your area.
That being said, I have tried out a few and the one that immediately comes to mind is Point2Agent.
I am thoroughly impressed with what this site has to offer, primarily because it is thereal estate industry's largest syndication network. If you have your listing posted on this site, you have to choice to post on select or all of these other websites if your real estate agent is working with this site. In addition, your listing will be posted on other agents' sites with whom they have agreed to work with, anywhere in the world.
Although having a real estate agent still proves to be one of the most effective ways to sell your home, you are not restricted to only that route. You can do your own online marketing and submit your house to many of the most popular real estate websites, with the exception of MLS and the one stop marketing machine, Point2NLS. But you can still submit to their partners individually, some of which are free but many do charge fees.
Here is a list of the most popular real estate websites:
